So, I have been getting lots of emails regarding the live cam and the babies. All the girls have been sold, sorry everybody. We are going to add colored collars on them soon so the new parents can see them grow day by day and see theirs right away. I have been superbusy with work and was unable to add more videos, however I promise to add more soon. I made them, I just haven't uploaded them urgh, bad me, bad me.
One word on the live cam. I try to leave it on as much as possible. I know the audio is off a lot, but I work mainly from home and you all don't really want to listen to me talking on the phone or typing away all day.
It also takes a bit for the livecam to start. It can take up to 60 seconds for the live cam to actually appear on your screen, but once its running on your pc it goes smoothly. Remember its live, not some video we shot 3 years ago..
The babies are now a little over 3 weeks old and growling at each other, laying in the foodbowl copying mom whenever they can. Our little run blue/tan boy likes being by himself. The 2 girls who have been sold have received their new names. Natalie for the black and tan and Hera for the blue and tan one. Natalie was laying cozy on one of our boys the other day, and chewing on his ear, with no teeth, lol... However the little boy was screaming bloody murder and since I had the audio on we received quit a bit of emails regarding his bloody scream. Don't worry,, they are all fine, they are just trying out how far they can go with each other right now.
Pepper our mom has been very patient with the pups. However she hides from them whenever possible. We are no longer putting them into the large crate in the night but leave them right here inside the gate now. When the sand storms die down we will take them outside. They go from 100 miles an hour to dead asleep in 0 seconds now.
Dad Loki has been sniffing around the babies for the past few days and than gives us the sad look and hangs on us or sits on our lab forever, like he is afraid we would trade him for a cutie pie. Well we just keep telling him not to worry, he isn't going anywhere. But he is like a little child, attention, attention, and more attention. And of course as soon he gets some petting Pepper jumps up on us wanting her love time.
Every evening we have been taking one of the babies and holding them near to us. So they get to know that humans are youre friend, you can get treats, petted and loved by them.
We have had a couple calls on the boys. We will see if we find them a good home. I do worry about our little runt a little. He seems to sit by himself all day and we have to make sure he gets his part of mom's dinner extra ordinare when its served, otherwise he is fine.
Our middle child is a big baby. One wrong look at him and he will whine and whine. We had the ambulance drive by here an hour ago and he made the sound of the siren. I should have turned the audio on, it was too funny.
Ok, well off I go. Keep on watching
